Lake Lugnesjön Natural Preserve

Lugnsjön nature reserve is a beautiful nature area just a few kilometers from the center of Söderhamn. The shallow and nutritious bird lake is well visited, both for education and recreation. In the southern part of the reserve there are walking and cycling paths.

The shallow and nutritious lake of Lugnesjön an attractive lake for birds, and is inhabited by among others the black-headed gull, the tufted duck, the common goldeneye and the horned grebe. The area is surrounded by hiking paths, including one leading to the picturesque Stormorshäll area, which has a cabin for resting.
