West of Eden – Celtic Christmas

Last year, West of Eden once again embarked on a sold-out Christmas tour, receiving rave reviews both in Sweden and internationally. Their Celtic Christmas celebration puts Irish and English folk music centre stage.

Now they are returning to twenty-three cities across Sweden, inviting audiences to enjoy traditional Christmas melodies, lively folk tunes, medieval hymns and modern favourites such as Fairytale of New York – all brought together in a magical and atmospheric Christmas concert.

The band features Jenny Schaub on vocals, accordion and tin whistle; Lars Broman on fiddle; Martin Holmlund on bass; Ola Karlevo on drums and bodhrán; Martin Schaub on vocals, acoustic guitar and piano; and Henning Sernhede on electric guitar, acoustic guitar and banjo.

Today, West of Eden is undoubtedly one of Sweden’s leading folk rock bands. Over the years, they have built up a loyal following both in Sweden and abroad, thanks to their high-quality songwriting and distinctive folk-inspired sound.

West of Eden have released twelve albums. Their live recordings of the Celtic Christmas concerts, as well as their 2022 album Next Stop Christmas, have received widespread acclaim from both Swedish and international music press. “A masterpiece of Christmas Music” and “Goosebumps guaranteed” are just a couple of the glowing reviews.
