To do Sights Church

Söderala Church

One of the oldest stone churches in northern Sweden.

The church was likely constructed between the years 1150 and 1180. The interior is decorated with paintings from the 16th century. A unique weather vane from around 1025 was discovered here, which shows the advanced level of metal craftsmanship prevalent in Sweden at the time.
