Ljusne Industrial Museum

In the mid 19th century an extensive industry took place at the mouth of the Ljusnan river. The factory significantly influenced the community. The industrial museum shows the lives and activities of workers in Ljusne around the turn of the century; a life lived in the shadow of saw mills and iron smelting plants. The museum holds many objects from that time and shows authentic environments such period shops, schools and kitchens.
