Kasberget observation tower

The mountain with its lookout tower offers an incredible view of Mo socken with a nice walk in a forest environment. Hike on a marked trail up to the top and in addition to the tower there is also a barbecue area and benches.

Kasberget is 202 m above sea level and the tower that was built in the summer of 2005 is 7.5 m from the ground to the upper level. The tower was built by Mo Hembygdsförening with the help of villagers and financial support from local companies. There is a barbecue area and benches to sit on.
It is quite steep and rocky hiking so shoes with good grip in the sole are recommended, do not forget to bring binoculars.

Directions: A road leads all the way to the path that goes up to the tower. From Mo you go towards Flor, take off at Svedjaskylten and follow that road about 1 km to Kasbergsskylten. There you follow a marked path, it takes about 15 - 20 minutes until you are at the top.
