Guided tour of the Hälsingland farm Erik-Anders

Erik-Anders is one of seven Hälsingland farmhouses that were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2012 under the name Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland.

The World Heritage farmhouse Erik-Anders is located along the winding village road Asta in Söderala parish and features manor-like architecture. Inside the house, the rooms are arranged in two full rows, and upstairs there is a magnificent banquet hall of impressive width. The farm displays interiors from several different periods, ranging from 1850 to 1950.

Erik-Anders takes its name from Erik Andersson, the farmer and lay judge who had the farm built in the 1820s in Söderala parish. Today, Erik-Anders is privately run by the Forssell family.
