Alir's Eye - Sculpture
The sculpture "Alir's Eye" is, with a volume of 150 000 cubic meters, Sweden's largest landscape sculpture. It measures 160 m in diameter at the base and is 24 meters high. The sculpture is made up of waste dirt left over from the construction of the East Coast Railway. The name "Alir" is a medieval name known from southern Hälsingland province, first mentioned at the start of the 14th century.
