Feeling stressed? Having trouble making ends meet? Wondering what the research says about stress? Then this is the lecture for you.


With a mixture of seriousness and lightheartedness, I summarize current brain, sleep and stress research in a popular science way. In my lecture you will get concrete tips and strategies on how to handle and solve situations with many balls in the air, life puzzles, high demands and disturbing interruptions in work. These are tools that you can greatly benefit from, both in your work and personal life.

You can take control of your stress and avoid sick leave and burnout.


The lecture is just over two hours including intermission and includes the following:

* The brain – Why the brain gets damaged under stress and how we avoid it.
* Control – All those balls, emails, anxiety and worry – so we get control over the past, present and future.
* Self-esteem – Therefore, self-esteem is a defense against stress and how we build a strong one.
* Sleep – How the body is repaired and why we wake up in the middle of the night and are stressed.
* Efficiency and calm – Manage stress in a busy work environment and why we should do one thing at a time.

I worked as an IT consultant for 15 years before my fast pace made me slam into the wall. I had to find answers to the questions: what is contributing to the fast pace today and what can we do about it? Today I have changed track and talk about how we can avoid stress and burnout. I want to be there before it hits.

For the past six years, I have lectured on stress for business. I travel around companies and organizations and talk about concrete strategies to avoid stress and sick leave. Since 2019, I also make open lectures for the public, take the opportunity to secure your place in the salon today!
